Mother Bear helps Little Bear discover that the only thing he needs to wear to keep warm in the snow is his own fur coat. [6]
Summary
It is winter, and Little Bear wants to play in the snow. He tries to get Mother Bear to go out and play with him, but she says that she is too busy. After this, he says that it is cold and he needs something to put on. Mother Bear tells him to close his eyes and she makes sewing machine noises while getting a hat from her basket.
After playing in the snow for a while and making the torso of a snowbear, Little Bear comes in again and says he is cold and needs more snow stuff to put on. Mother Bear does the same thing as before and pretends to make him a coat. But after playing a bit more and making the snowbear's head, Little Bear comes in again and asks for something more to put on.
Mother Bear repeats what she did twice before, this time giving Little Bear snow pants. Littel Bear goes out again and gives the snowbear coal eyes and an icicle nose. After this, Little Bear goes inside again and tells Mother Bear that he still wants more to put on. Mother Bear asks if he wants a fur coat. After Little Bear says he does, Mother Bear takes all his other things and tells him that now he has a fur coat.
Little Bear goes out again, but soon comes in again and tells Mother Bear to shut her eyes. He leads her outside and shows her the snowbear he made. After he says how he wishes he had buttons, Mother Bear gives him some buttons to put on him. Little Bear then goes inside and brings out Father Bear's hat and scarf. After this, Little Bear jumped into the snowbear.
