"Grandfather's Attic" is the first story in the twelfth episode of the first season of Little Bear. It was written by John Lazarus. In the United States, it premiered on 5 February 1996 on Nickelodeon.
Summary[]
One day, Little Bear is asked to help his grandparents clean out their attic, which is full of all sorts of treasures including a rocking horse, grandfather's old boxing uniform, and circus outfits. Little Bear and Grandfather Bear fantasize about being in the circus until Grandmother Bear tells them that it's time to take a break.
Background information[]
- In the YouTube version of the episode, Little Bear is introduced by his own voice. However, in the Nickelodeon and Paramount+ versions of the episode, he is introduced by the ringmaster's voice.
- The audience members of the circus consist mostly of humans and brown bears. There is also a gray goose, a black-and-gray cat, an owl, a moose, a raccoon, an otter, a panda bear, and a gopher.
