Building a House for Emily is the first story in the 18th episode of the animated children's series Little Bear.

Plot

Little Bear, Father Bear and Grandfather Bear build Emily and her grandmother a log house with the help of Father Bear's brother, Uncle Rusty.

Trivia

• Even though Emily's name was mentioned on the episode's title and this episode, she did not appear until the next episode "Emily Returns".
• This is the second time Father Bear plays a harmonica. The first time was in "Pudding Hill".
• When Little Bear said that he once climbed on the moon once, it was a reference to a segment (based off a story from the book series) called: Little Bear Goes to the Moon.
• This episode marked the introduction to Father Bear's younger brother Rusty.
