Plot
It is Little Bear's birthday, but he thinks his mother has forgotten. Little Bear's friends come over, while he makes his own birthday soup.

- Owl does not appear in this segment and he is the only one who does not get invited to Little Bear's house on his birthday as he may have forgot to invite him.
- This episode is based on the story of the same name from Little Bear (1957). It was also the third episode to be adapted from the Else Holmelund Minarik books.
